Advisors meeting with Michael- January

Michael and I had a meeting in NYC  about the research question that I was proposing.  Which was, How has the artistic history of red ochre compared to vermillion effected the way we see red today?  We also talked in lengths about the large, map like piece I had in my presentation.  Great feedback!  He questioned how important the line was to me as well as my hand in the process, did I really want it to show?  He also told me look into Rudolph Steiner's Grammar of abstraction, Bryce Marsden's work, Marek Toldowski work, Paul Klee's writing and Peter Bynum.  We also discussed the internal versus the external  OR inside/outside.  What does that mean in the context of my work?  Great talking!
