Went up to Red Rocks for a hike, to take some photos and be inspired by line, space and form in my favorite subject matter, rocks. Below are some rock sketches that I will paint on canvas with some of the red clay that I picked off my wheel wells, with red dye and red wine! Excited to combine the chemical reaction of the red wine and red dye with the local, natural pigment of Red Rocks.
